Our daily rhythm emphasizes the order of events in our consistent routine. Children find comfort and security knowing this predictable sequence. Our four-hour school day allows the teachers and children time to fully explore areas of interest and to share a noon meal together in addition to our morning snack.

• Circle Time (Story or Puppet Show)

• Outdoor Play and Nature Exploration
• Lunch
• Circle Time (Candle Song and Goodbye)
• Pick Up 1:00 pm

Outdoor Routine (Friday Sunflower Class)

• Drop Off 9:00 am
• Free Choice Outdoor Play
• Snack with hot herbal tea
• Preset Activity (Skill Building Games or Art Project or Gardening)
• Weekly Nature Walk (to garden and wetland)
• Picnic Lunch
• Garden Based Learning and Nature Exploration
• Circle Time (Story or Puppet Show, Candle Song and Goodbye)
• Pick Up 12:30 pm (Early dismissal on outdoor days supports the extra energy children expend)
